[ yellow tail ] is an amazing Australian success story, not only do they have a great product and brand, but they also have a refreshingly creatively approach to their Shopper work.
During my time at agency One Partners, we have developed campaigns that buck all the usual category language, opting for humour, quirkiness and a distinctive visual character. Resulting in promotions that deliver brand in a way a big ‘WIN’ and a picture of a vineyard never could.

Client: News Corp Australia
Daily Escapes is a sales promotional campaign active across New Corp Australia's major masthead publications, to help increase newspaper repeat purchase. With 21 exciting holiday destinations up for grabs, across 21 consecutive days, readers had the choice to opt for trips that heroed health and wellness, home and garden and or food and wine. These themes were communicated by bold iconography inspired by vintage travel posters and passport stamps.

Client: Evil Twin
As part of Evil Twin's AW14 collection titled 'Under Construction' I was invited to design a placement graphic focusing on the word 'brutal'. Evil Twin is known for their take on the darker side of street style, fusing hard edges with feminine silhouettes to create the ultimate goth-grunge designs. Evil Twin designer Jodie McKenzie provided me with references of the aesthetic she envisaged for the collection; large, bold type that could possibly be applied to a sweater/knit. After sketching with pen and paper and experimenting with type in Illustrator, I came up with this integrated lock-up of the word 'brutal'. My intention was to present the word 'brutal' as an ambiguous graphic print. Featuring distressed, warped typography and use of negative/positive space, the graphic can be applied to any fabric with the use of only one colour. I presented two colour ways, black/white and red/white. Evil Twin opted for the black/white version to be knitted into the sweater, as well as a yardage print.

Concept Key Visuals for Pernod Ricard's Festive Collection of top liquors for Christmas.

Client: Unilever Continental
Concept Key Visual I designed for Continental's new gourmet range of Cup A Soup flavours. This concept was selected by the client to further develop, leading to the production of the final master Key Visual.
My role was to execute the final Key Visual using professionally photographed and rendered imagery. The creative was then rolled out across the entire campaign, from digital to POS and exclusive giveaway collateral.

Client: Unilever Streets Paddle Pop
Paddle Pop 'Lick-a-Prize', an Australian promotional marketing icon needed rebooting. The 'match sticks to win' mechanic had dated, with the perceived chance of winning low amongst kids. The 'Magilika’ app was then introduced, becoming the key feature of the 2014 promotion by providing an interactive platform for bespoke games, movie content and augmented reality experiences as instant win prizes.
Working closely with our development team, I designed the app's user-interface while also adapting global assets, providing art direction for gaming environments and created new iconography that is consistent with world of Paddle Pop Magilika.
The Paddle Pop Magilika app received outstanding results with 56,250 app downloads - 11,810 average monthly users - 804 average daily users.
It has also won Best Consumer Goods Mobile App and Food Industry Mobile App at the 2015 IAC Awards.
